  • Chronicle Telegram article (6-15-2016) about the banding of five 20-day old American kestels by expert bird bander Gary Fowler. Black River Audubon Society members volunteered for the event, including Larry Wilson who is a BRAS board member and head of the American Kestrel Conservation Program in Lorain County. The data is sent to the Bird Banding Lab run by the Department of the Interior.
